What's on owner's minds?

Our annual insurance premium was due this month. Travel's increased their premium 35%! That's 7k more than last year. So sent out for quotes, found CAU, was the same price as last year,. BUT all insurance companies have added a new rule for associations. We must modify grille requirements in order to get insurance. They are requiring us to remove ALL gas grills from decks, overhangs and patios, no exceptions.(charcoal grills are already banned)

Only electric grills/smokers are allowed on decks. Gas grills/smokers must be used only in driveways, 10 feet from the building. Needless to say we are not happy about this mandatory requirement.  We must draft a rule to clearly state these stipulations in order to get insurance.  It will be forthcoming to your mailbox when the rule verbiage is accepted by the insurance company.
